Western Environmental Testing Laboratory (WETLAB) with locations in Sparks, Elko, and Las Vegas, Nevada is a full service, fun, and fast-paced client-oriented environmental testing laboratory. Job Title:          Sales and Service Manager

Reports to:        Operations Manager

Job Description:

Under general supervision, the WETLAB Sales and Service Manager (SSM) oversees and performs complex administrative tasks.  Provides leadership and implementation of policies and procedures for department.  SSM promotes effective and efficient department operations and meeting quarterly and annual priorities as set in the WETLAB Strategic Plan.  Assume full management responsibility for all assigned functions and personnel.  Familiar with a variety of practices and procedures to manage and develop staff and fulfill client needs.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

Management of the Sales and Service staff in Sparks, Elko and Las Vegas

Serve as a member of the Leadership Team

Maintain client satisfaction

Oversee and execute client retention plan

Achieve departmental goals, objectives and priorities as described in the WETLAB Strategic Plan

Develop and mentor Sales and Service staff

Implement and execute process improvement initiatives

Implement and execute technology improvements

Assess and monitor workload, identify opportunities for improvement, direct and implement changes.

Develop client relationships, maintain communication and coordinate activities with clients and outside organizations.

 

Performance Measures:

Performs and completes assigned task by due date

Excellent client feedback

Positive staff feedback

Meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals and/or objectives

Ensures department metrics are being met

Follow Quality Assurance Plan

Follow Safety Program

Completes assigned duties as described by SOP

Staff and department advancement

Keep a clean or orderly workspace

Experience:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, previous environmental laboratory experience is not required.

Compensation:

$60,000 – $90,000 per year (Exempt Employee)
