WETLAB’s flagship state-of-the-art facility was opened in Sparks in 2006. Since then, we have added satellite locations in Elko and Las Vegas. For those located in Reno-Sparks, Elko, and Las Vegas, each WETLAB location offers free local sample pick up and delivery of testing supplies. For those in surrounding and rural areas, our Courier Service is available throughout Nevada and parts of California.

Our Team

A Woman-Owned Small Business, Western Environmental Testing Laboratory was founded by Michelle Sherven in 2002 as a small start-up with only seven employees. Today, WETLAB’s 50 employees operate out of our 3 laboratories throughout Nevada.

Our expansion over the last 20+ years is a testament to our commitment to embracing science, technology, innovation – and our people. Our employees are our greatest strength.

At WETLAB, we determinedly work towards growth – expanding our team, promoting career development, and increasing our testing capabilities. We do this by strategically obtaining new certifications, introducing new methods, and acquiring new instruments.

Meet our leadership team.

Our work can be serious, but we have a fun and innovative spirit. WETLAB has established a flexible and growth-oriented culture that allows our team members the opportunity to have fun, collaborate, and accomplish their personal and professional goals.
